Is there anything so beautiful as watching a child delight in the wonders of the world? Today I’m giving thanks for all the beautiful moments and happy days my two girls have given me.

And wishing an equally happy day to moms everywhere!

Happy Day

All the world is glad this morning.
The new grass twinkles in the sun,
A jonquil laughs and a crocus chuckles
And robins run
Buoyantly over the new green grasses
While high overhead gay cloudlets scud—
But gladdest of all is our blue-eye toddler
Discovering mud.
